Luv luv working with 100% Cashmere! After many requests Knitbuds will now offer Cashmere Mitts! You pick the style and colors! After almost one year, making my special mitts has been so much fun! From NY Rangers Zamboni Crew to actual retired NY Rangers Greats, to people walking by me at work, all asking me for knitwear!! Many watching me knit on my downtime!! The interest in knitting is growing!! I have been exploring many different projects through knitting. And also started teaching knitting to 7 and 8 yr olds with my good knitbud Denise. I just this weekend visited the NY Vogue Knitting Show, with a capacity crowd. The interest in going back to basics is growing and i love learning more skills and meeting wonderful creative friends through knitting! More to come in 2015 . I want to branch out my teaching and projects!! KNIT AWAY!!!

The past few months my mom and I completed the 60+ preemie size pumpkin hats for favors, for my sister -in- laws pumpkin themed baby shower. Very easy pattern and lots of fun. We topped them over minuature milk bottles in the fall themed colors. Added some fall colored candy. Great for your favorite baby doll or just fun to play with. Best of all you can bring them to the hospital when baby is born and donate to preemie ward !! Very excited to possibly have a booth at the Nov 8 StitchFest. I need many gloves and a large variety of styles. I will be creating some fun holiday mitts! Santa gloves, Candy Canes, Snowflake! Plus all your favorite football and hockey team colors! I will also start taking orders for sports mom's gloves, so you can cheer your favorite school athelete on !! Love making these new variagated mitts! No two are alike! Thanks to Josie and Maura for suggesting this fun and whimsical yarn!! I know it's only early summer, but i made the mistake of shopping at Hallmark. Already selling xmas ornaments. I realized it's time to start making my Halloween Mitts. Starting with youth sizes for all the little trick or treaters. With fun combinations of orange, purple, black and fun neon green's. A few rainy days ahead will give me indoor time to start creating!! http://josiescolourfuljourney.blogspot.com/
